Welcome to Shiretoko, UNESCO World heritage, in summer.

The conference venue is located very close to the Shiretoko National Park, which was inscribed to the World Natural Heritage List and is considered to be the last pristine wilderness remaining in Japan.

The organizers have chosen this area for the symposium to enjoy the contrast between the grandeur of nature and nano-scale molecular system.

The tour of the Shiretoko Peninsular is also scheduled during the symposium. The summer is the best season to visit. The beautiful scenery of Shiretoko will bring you “grandeur” ideas of researches.

Shuttle Bus

Shuttle buss is available between the conference area and Memanbetsu airport. It will take about 2 hours to reach the conference site.
